Diamond History
The name “diamond” originates from the Greek word adamas which means “invincible.” Diamonds have been treasured as gemstones since their use as religious icons in India over 2,500 years ago. Judging Diamonds
Diamonds are most often judged by the “4 - Cs”: carat, clarity, color, and cut.
