Don and Mary Jensen founded Jensen Jewelers in 1956 in Twin Falls, Idaho. Their oldest son, John, came to work for the company in 1972. John and his wife, Anna Dee, purchased Jensen's in 1986. Don remained a supportive advisor until his death in 2004. John and Anna Dee's daughter, Sara, joined the family business that same year. As a family and company, they have expanded Jensen Jewelers to include fourteen stores in five states including Idaho, Montana, Nevada, South Dakota and Wyoming.

Jensen Jewelers now employs over one hundred people. They are still headquartered just down the street from their first location in Twin Falls.
